Guest
This The only 'flop' aspect of the BTW era were the two singles, Judas and Marry The Night. Judas was a hit here. Everyone know this song and this have 190 000 000 views on VEVO..
Arturo 40,746
It's stupid… If it was that, why Katy didn't have the same numbers ? Or Venus ? Or Dope ? What does Katy have to do with ARTPOP's preorders? Venus and Dope all experienced the preorder effect too.

Guest
What does Katy have to do with ARTPOP's preorders? Venus and Dope all experienced the preorder effect too. Cause PRISM had a preorder too. Venus wasn't #1 in 90 countries like DWUW…
Neptune 156
she is a flop because katy perry is currently experiencing 2 consecutive peak eras. Except Katy's peak eras can't even be compared to Gaga's success during her peak.
VISION 52
sold 2,300,000 in 2013 confirmed by RIA and +450 000 in 2014 so 2,750,000. OMG these are EXCELLENT numbers It is a drop effect that happens to all super famous artists. If you forget about previous mega-success, ARTPOP is one of the world's top albums
ReRe 1,957
What does Katy have to do with ARTPOP's preorders? Venus and Dope all experienced the preorder effect too. Yes, they did. But keep in mind, DWUW breaking the record means other people also bought it. That's why it went platinum, while Venus and Dope didn't.
Neptune 156
at the end of the day...the "ARTPOP FLOPPED" headlines on every major website in the globe promoted the **** out of ARTPOP... The "flop" rumors and articles helped the album a lot, so i don't rlly care that ppl call it a flop... and ur right about the GP not giving up on her, they still talk about her, more than they talk about many other pop girls. Exactly the opposite. No one will buy an album that's called a flop. That's not the type of promo you want for your work.
TheOriginalOne 10,627
Unfortunately this won't stop the flop talkWhat's ironic is that it is actually continuing it.
Ladey Gagz 2,512
Cause PRISM had a preorder too. Venus wasn't #1 in 90 countries like DWUW… All the #1's weren't JUST from the pre-orders It's ALSO because it was announced a single but the pre-orders HELPED alot
