Yes, the name of ARTPOP was a problem because the media immediately decided Gaga was pretentious despite the album just being fun. It's like they didn't even listen to it, just dumped all over the concept. :emo:

Music critics saw "art" in the title and thought "I need to write 3 paragraphs pointing out all the reasons why this shouldn't be considered art"

Because that's just how professional critics' minds work :millie:

Ambrosia

I caught that it was a play on Braveheart instantly, and I think Raveheart would have been perfect.  A catchy name will bring 'em in... :sara:

That would have been such a great username too.  :nick:

One Five Ten

'Goddess Of Love' or 'Creative Rebellion' in my opinion

This! I really love 'Goddess of Love' actually. It ties in with the themes of both Venus and G.U.Y., and a few Roman and Greek references could easily have been added to other songs to further that theme.

Still waiting on that self titled album though. I'd love for her to take the two-part album concept and make two albums - one called 'Gaga' for the commercial and the other 'Stefani' for the experimental music. :excited2:
