I'm not. It's just special that in a market much smaller, an album can sell so well!

Not a surprise when it's a highly acclaimed album by a big artist. But I will agree with you to a point.

Since it was released in Japan

Frozen was SMASH in East-Asia. Let It Go, for example, sold about 2 million in South Korea :rip:

Well, 21 sold about 500k in Brazil... so 830k is an amazing number

21 went Diamond in Europe  what kind of slayage, and it sold 1 million in Australia :dies: that's 1 in 20 people owning an album in the time when most people simply pirate their music :dies:

Yeah, 21 did REALLY well! But Adele is talented so I have nothing against it.

About 10% of China is pro-gay marriage, but I've indeed heard before that Thailand has a big LGBTQ community... Japan is probably the least accepting rich country. But that doesn't have much to do with buddhism I think.

Japan actually recognize same s-x marriages made outside Japan. So even if you are japanese, you can marry in another country and the state will recognize your marriage. It will be nice to actually see Japan legalise same s-x marriage, but it probably wont happen soon. Its something in the region that stop it, even if Japan is probably the weirdest ( in a good way) country in the world and so accepting with actually everything.

South Korea is another thing. Maybe you remmember the protests there for Lady Gaga. Singapore is another mess. There is a really big gay world there and Gaga was with BTWB there and yet beeing gay is still a crime.  :dies: So Japan is actually an accepting country. I dont know how you see it as unaccepting, but its true that it remains a weird world hard to understand from outside and same s-x marriage isnt the tool to see how accepting or not they are. Its actually probably the best country in Asia to be gay.  Look at this if you dont believe me when I say that they are very open minded.

Where in the world would you see something like that? Where in the world actually beeing Gaga is not out of this world, but perfect integrated in the picture? :excited2:
