Arturo 40,746
I wonder if that peak Birthday got from its video premiere is its final peak. Radio play + sales are not matching.

Whispering 18,865
62. Katy Perry - Birthday Will she just film her video for Legendary Lovers already? If listeners are not changing stations when it plays, it doesn't really matter. Katy Perry has a history of catchy, successful digital sellers. Favoritism towards her is warranted. There are tons of songs that don't make radio listeners change the channel, songs from big names also. That still doesn't mean there isn't an obvious radio bias that FAR exceeds favoritism towards any other artist and has been going on for years now. That bias factors into some of those #1s, that could have never gotten there without radio treating the songs like they were all at the level of #1 iTunes hit smashes. The favoritism is ridiculous. Yup. Especially how she's giving it a spotlight performance on her tour by making it the last song. People remember the beginning and the end of a concert the most.
