It's arguably her best song (and music video too) yet. Too bad it's the one that broke her streak of HOT 100 #1s back then, and became literally the one that got away. I've been yearning for her to release an entirely acoustic single since it's where she's at her best and most comfortable.

for me Firework and E.T. are her best videos they are both visually stunning and professional ... but TOTGA and TOY are 100x times better than anything from the Prism era u know there were times that she and the team behind her put more than 10 minutes thought in those concepts and visuals and directing ...... I'm expecting her next video to be cartoon

 

 

 

That reminds me of Britney's 2 animated music videos. One was good (Break The Ice), while the other wasn't. But nonetheless, I find them a bit cool. Not the type of music video a fan would want, but animation's something different.

The drop isn't that well produced. The lyrics are...C level at best. Avril has written much better songs. I don't care if she was honoring Japanese culture. She could have put some more thought into the lyrics. The only catchy part is the pre-hook.
