All this iconicness and impact talk is all subjective nonsense. That's not entirely true. Hold It Against Me went #1, so did Roar, which one had more impact? Not to mention the fact that Drunk In Love has sold similar figures to Do What U Want but was for sure a bigger hit.

Not to mention the fact that Drunk In Love has sold similar figures to Do What U Want but was for sure a bigger hit. Hold it against me sold less then roar and free fell. Roar had longevity. Essence 199
Hold it against me sold less then roar and free fell. Roar had longevity. Dil was not that big... Exactly. So charts and sales themselves aren't the only thing that can be used to measure the success of stuff.
Babel 41,305
Exactly. So charts and sales themselves aren't the only thing that can be used to measure the success of stuff. but Jhony has a point. Charts and sales aren't the only way to measure success, but it's the more accurate one using something as universal as numbers.

Klou 2,414
102. Katy Perry - Birthday 391. Katy Perry - Birthday Radio - 20M AI I'm calling it now... This song will do worse than Unconditionally. Actually, I never thought it would do well seeing how it was like #800 before the lyric video.
Morphine Prince 103,686
Surprised Katy hasn't increased a lot even though the video's been out for like 9 hours. She usually increases pretty quick, right?

Neither Unconditionally or Dark Horse gave substantial boosts. Her songs prior to those did, though.
