24. Echosmith - Cool Kids

I thought things couldn't get much worse than Shower, then this song shoots up the charts. Such a lyrical embarrassment.

Edit: I just checked wiki and this was there :dies:

Daniel Bromfield of E Daily Emerald gave a negative review saying, "The album’s biggest lyrical tragedy would have to be “Cool Kids,†which might have been the album’s best song if not for its cringe-worthy chorus of “I wish that I could be like the cool kids/Because all the cool kids seem to fit in.â€

Just cause I don't like Anaconda doesn't mean I'm pressed. I like Nicki. I guess I expected more when I heard she sampled Baby Got Back. Best part of BGB is the verses not the chorus.

Gypsy Life

Bang Bang and Anaconda are already free-falling. I saw it coming. None of them is going to be a big hit. The most I can see happening is Bang Bang ending up between Applause and DWUW, and Anaconda as big as Marry The Night.

2 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 0.9584 0.9318

Baby Adele coming for that #1. This is the summer smash we've been waiting for.

I Really wonder where Maps is gonna peak in the US

#1 in canada and loads of other countries, I think it'l be blocked at #2 in the US by a stronger song.

I reckon it could of gone #1 if it was promoted better

Beyoncé's singles performance though

Yup. Her singles from '4' performed much better worldwide. It produced 2 top 20 hits on the HOT 100 and 3 top 15 hits in the UK, as opposed to the visual album's one top 15 hit on both charts so far. And aside from the Flawless remix with Nicki Minaj (if it ever gets released as a single, which I'm hoping it will), it seems it'd stay this way.

US iTunes:

1. Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass

Well deserved. This is the first single topping iTunes this year which I really enjoy listening to since Happy. Really now rooting for it to stay there for a very long time until it hits #1 on the HOT 100 too. It just has to. Beautiful Girls 2.0 (female version) coming to slay hard!  :applause:
