Billboard Hot 100: #19(=) Birthday, @katyperry [11 weeks]. *peak *17*

Again, she can thank radios or it would have been out of top 100 long time ago...

Is Birthday going to be the lowest selling song to ever reach top 10 on radio?

Maybe Billboard should have made a comment about that in its recent article in which it praised Katy for having the most consecutive top 10 radio hits ever

Its sales are estimated around 400k, more or less. And yeah, it's the lowest-selling single to enter the top 10 on Pop for this decade, as far as I'm aware of. Some songs, which have sold around 500k, such as Rixton's Me and My Broken Heart, have also entered the top 10 on Pop. It's currently at #7.

As previously mentioned too, some singles of Timberlake and Maroon 5 have entered the top 10 on Pop with sales close to or less than 500k. But to be fair for Timberlake, sales for singles during the early 2000s (his peak) were very low due to incredibly high album sales. He got multiple singles peaking within the top 5 on Pop despite not entering the top 10 on the HOT 100 back in 2002-2003. Maroon 5 got a #8 peak on Pop in 2007 for Wake Up Call with a HOT 100 peak lower than Birthday's. Misery, also a single by them in 2010 not peaking within the top 10 of the HOT 100, managed to score a #8 peak on Pop too. Both singles have yet to be certified as gold.

Wouldn't it be great if this was true? https://mobile.twitter.com/lipstickveins/status/481445555990970368

Like during this break Gaga was recording a more radio friendly version of Sexxx Dreams and filming a video with Steven Klein. And then it slayed like the tarot card reader said it would in July

WAIT. That could be true, @Brooklyn_Night tweeted "Gaga is obsessed with Sexxx"! Maybe it's actually happening :omg:

Please, Gags, please

Tarot didn't say it wil slay he/she said it will be moderate hit

Katy Perry - Birthday :

#7 on radios : audience : +0.214 ; spins : +12

Itunes US : #44 (Red updates)

When will radios give up on it ? I mean the song is flopping in charts (+ video views are dropping) but it still has positive radio updates... So unfair..

Like I said disgusting, people obviously dislike the song but yet it almost has 100 mill AI on radio. Even when Marry The Night had 30 mill AI it was in the top 30 I believe?

Honestly I think we won't have a new single from ARTPOP

This moderate hit could be first single from C2C. Having a moderate hit from a jazz album would not be so bad though.
