Ascetic 0
All of Gaga's videos are owned by Interscope, as they finance it It's copyrighted under Interscope, and therefore, in a court of law, it's theirs The Applause video states: Lady Gaga performing Applause. © 2013 Interscope Directors: Inez and Vinoodh Producer: Gabe Hill Production Company: GE Projects and theCollectiveShift The G.U.Y. video states: Music video by Lady Gaga performing "G.U.Y." ©2014 Interscope Why, all of a sudden, would Troy SUDDENLY own the rights to her video? Lol He doesn't finance them, so he can't even claim copyright For those of you not knowing what a copyright is: Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator of intellectual wealth (e.g. the photographer of a photograph or the author of a book) to receive compensation for their work and be able to financially support themselves. So Interscope makes money off the video views, not Troy Troy has never made any money off her videos probably, nor has Gaga herself unless she's got a stipulation in her contract that states she gets a certain percentage So stop with this Troy owns the DWUW video crap and actually look around a bit before you state such claims. It's probably too controversial or weird so she didn't want to release it.

I was just stating the fact that it's rather dumb to think he owns the rights to the video when every other video states otherwise I'm not going to comment anything else about Troy other than what I see

Americano 31,061
I think she was just rushed to do the video, didn't like how it turned out or the concept, so she refused to release it.

If they were the ones to finance the video and were the ones to get the money from it, it's clear now that Troy was not holding the reigns in this thing. Ugh, I wanna know what went on already

Too bad she didn't do that with The Edge of Glory and just remake it.

Ugh, I wanna know what went on already Well they make money off her music, but Troy makes money off her appearances and performances like SNL or The Today Show, so maybe it was something like that? Either way, we'll never know because she will try to keep it buried for as long as possible
