Will Gaga come back this era?

I don't think she will have a massive hit from ARTPOP, like nothing bigger than Applause Hopefully her tour will be successful I can't really say if ACT II will do better than this album - if this ACT ends on a high note then maybe ACT II will open really well due to hype and the wave of excitement for Gaga stuff

honestly no. The damage has pretty much been done. It's been a mess from the very beginning. 

She should just start all over. Wait a year or two and then release new music, have a plan and follow though with it.

Probably not, but who knows. I think she can definitely continue to have moderate Top 15 hits this era though. I think she'll need a album/theme to make a "comeback." But if she does Act II, she might make her comeback then. We'll see!

I am an ARTPOP monster I know nothing about the hype or what she did say about it at the start.

From what I've seen here, the fans have a big part in the "hyping" about everything Gaga does tbh.

I think Gypsy stands a chance to become a hit. I don't think it'll go #1 but I think it'll be sizeable.

Not being negative, but not I'm not expecting her to return at the top with any other songs from ARTPOP. Her 'art' has not been understood by the GP. So ARTPOP is our album and our success ;)

 

But underperforming with one album doesn't mean she could not return one day at the top with a solid album which gonna be loved by both Monsters and the GP :)

 

Other artists underperformed with some of their albums (Madonna, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and so on...) : does it mean they are over ? Or was it really important ?

 

For Katycats, I think they should enjoy Katy's big success, the fall will be hard one day ;)

If G.U.Y. does well, and then they release Gypsy or Sexxx Dreams and that does well, I think we could call this era successful.  That's all up in the air right now, so who knows.

 

The tour definitely doing well.  It's almost full or sold out in most places.  This is good because tours are where artists and labels make most of their money.  As long as Gaga continues to draw crowds, Interscope will continue to fund her.

 

I don't think we'll get Act II.  Gaga seems to have cooled on it, and once she starts the artRave, she's going to get inspired and start writing all new music.

EXACTLY.  Success on the charts is 80% timing.  If Applause was released under different circumstances, it could have gone #1.  By releasing it when they did, it got bulldozed by Roar and Miley-gate.
