None of those categories. Each era has amazing songs, costumes, sets. and performances. But I am a stan of Gaga as a person; kind and caring, helping the world and saving lives, with strong traditional family values, with unwavering dedication to the things in which she believes. A person who knows that at the end of the day we are not defined by our awards, but by our kindness towards others and the good we did in the world. I believe I came in at the tail-end of the Born This Way era, and even then I was really only listening to the music and missed out on a lot of the press and performances. From going back and looking at videos and the press it seemed that The Fame and The Fame Monster eras were the most cohesive and "exciting" (with things falling apart mid way through BTW era). I really regret not being there for The Fame Monster era when she was at her absolute peak (in terms of presentation and style - I think BTW had better music though). But I also love the darkness of the BTW era as well. I don't think I would have been a fan during The Fame era (though I would have liked her, I think) just because I'm used to pretty, glitzy pop girls, I think I would have taken a bit more of an interest in her during TFM/BTW time period (especially after the Telephone vid - crazy stuff). BTW is my favorite album (and I stan hard for it) but I think she can top it, so I'm not a "Born This Way hipster," and am definitely along for the ride but I don't agree with everything she does and am certainly not in the "Yasss" catagory. I guess I'm a "non-era" fan. I'm always interested in what she does and am hopeful, because I think she is very unique and talented. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show.
