Shadow 6,549
This was debunked... Chris Child was a bit off apparently about the Quebec connection. http://www.perche-quebec.com/files/madonna/individus/madonna-lady-gaga-en.htmChris Child assumed that Jacques Pascal Bessette was Jacob Bessette/Bisset (a likely ancestor of Lady Gaga) who married Sarah Enochs on 22 August 1805 in Fayette Co. PA (USA). The 1850 United States Federal Census mentioned that Jacob was 64 years old in 1850 (i.e. born around 1786) and Maryland as place of birth. The problem is that Jacques Pascal Bessette never moved to the USA and he died when he was 14 years old on 16 August 1810 in Pointe-Olivier St-Mathias (Quebec). Therefore, he cannot be Jacob Bisset. The Jacques Pascal Bessette's burial certificate can be viewed in the Quebec Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 on ancestry.ca. Call no man happy until he is dead. -Solon, Herodotus's Histories

FrozenKookie 2,638
Actually Gaga's not full italian, Cynthia is french-canadian not italian which explains her French maiden name which was Bissett, Joe's side is itailan which is Germanotta which makes Gaga half french-canadian and half italian but i guess Cynthia and Joe prefer to live in the itailan lifestyle I didn't know this until now. Thanks

iloveit123 130
Madonna has Italian roots, as well as French-Canadian so I have heard about the French background before.... besides, a lot of us are a mix of backgrounds. I am not surprised Madonna and Gaga are related... the two have always reminded me of each other!
