She achieved this milestone back in November of last year (even though a major bulk of those sales came around pre-2008). Here's the article from Billboard. Other artists who are closely getting this feat includes Bieber. He's at around 9 million already from his 8 major releases. In comparison, Katy Perry needs at least three more hit studio album releases to possibly achieve that feat. She's at around 5.5 million. Bruno Mars, who's at around 4.3 million album sales, would need three more 2x platinum albums. Seeing all of these stats impresses me more of Gaga's. Yeah, Rihanna's post-2008 sales stand at 5,1 million copies. Eminem is also very close to crossing 10 million albums since 2008: Relapse, Recovery and The Marshall Mathers LP 2 are already over 8,9 million copies. He will crack 10 million copies with his next album for sure. Lil Wayne is very close to it, too. He is over 8,1 million copies with his solo albums released since 2008 (excluding the Young Money/Rich Gang projects). Beyonce is at 6,425 million copies with her album released since 2008, but as her self-titled set is still a hot-seller, she can climb over 7 million easily by the end of the year.
