It's time to proceed to another single era, and we know what should they pick to save the ARTPOP era. :toofloppy: The ONLY possible single after this would be a remix like Summertime Sadness. Anyone who thinks there will be a single after this is cray cray :) I was once convinced that if this single fails miserably, then it's more than fitting to end the era quickly in order to somehow protect her brand from further damage. Until I've heard that the supposed ACT 2 is rumoured to be slated next year, if I'm not mistaken (just correct me if I'm wrong), which will leave her yet another tour without any single up and running. And that's something I'm not fully sold. If G.U.Y. gives Gaga her worst chart performance, then so be it. But it's imperative that she releases a new single this year during the tour - whether a remix or a new single from an EP. Otherwise, the more she'd be forgotten from the Mainstream Top 40 scene. Mills 446 Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I don't care how hard this single flops, she should still release Gypsy in June/July and ready the lead from Act II for September/October. bad idea to go on a blackout from radio and TV again. release multiple singles for different countries, anything, but do something. MANiCURE for Europe, Gypsy for America, Venus for Asia with decent/simple music videos. there are tons of mainstream artists who put out five or more singles from a flop album and eventually get a smash hit, no big deal. if she stops now and waits 6 damn months or more to put out new stuff...it'll be much worse, I guess Exactly.
