Gaga said she'd like to do a video for Gypsy. But it all depends on Interscope if they want to release a new single after DWUW underperformance and G.U.Y. flop. But it all depends on Interscope if they want to release a new single after DWUW underperformance and G.U.Y. flop. I just don't get how anyone thought the third single wouldn't be doomed. I mean, after the DWUW video and mismanagement, Gaga fell off the radar for a period of time. Coming back with a new single relatively out of the blue with little national promotion (television performances, etc) would make it hard for a song to stick no matter how commerically ready it is. But, I think a fourth single would have a slightly better chance given that Gaga has actually been doing stuff. Then in May we'll have the buzz from her tour. I think releasing Gypsy as a fourth and final single the last week of May would be a great idea. Release it, then release a cost-friendly but creative video a week or two after. Hardly ..... 20 copies increase is hardly impressive.
