Girl, I loved Beyonce during '4' which was hardly a cakewalk in that ATRL thread. We're off topic though.

How come u don't like unconditionally anymore though? Before it's chart peak, you praised it to the high heavens. Now it's uncondflopaly as u described it now. And I never heard u mention bey once during the 4 era. Incidentally it was her lowest chart performer. Do u still like west coast btw?

Isn't Partition the next single?

Partition is #1 on Urban and Top 10 on Rhythmic already, are they sending it to pop this late?

I heard rumors of 'Blow,' I don't know if it was ever confirmed though

I never liked West Coast, just said it sounded fresh. I still like Unconditionally, GUY, etc.

I just mock them now. Unconditionfloppaly or Bubbling Under You. It's hardly personal. Pop ain't that serious. They're all rich girls and will have hits again.

Venus about to reach 10M views

Birthday about to get a +10M update tomorrow

By the way, is it even allowed to have a post-album radio deal? :o I thought that was payola..

I think if Gaga stuck to Venus and then just rush released DWUW when it inevitably bombed, she'd be in a better place. The single switch seemed to trip her up. But labels seem to do better just shoving a flop under the rug after, aka Judas/Unconditionally/XO rather than suddenly flipping singles beforehand.

With Part II, maybe she'll have a strong lead and re-charge the whole era.

I hate both LFN and Birthday to death. :emma: Bring me The One That Got Away tbh.

TOTGA/WA are my favorites by her, but during the summer LFN/BDay just seem to work.

California Gurls->LFN->Birthday all have that bubbly pop feeling. I hear International Smile is also being tested on markets now too as a follow up to Birthday for mid/late summer?

I think that'd be another chart success for her if so.

West coast is actually pretty stable in the 30s now.

How is it doing on radio? I haven't checked

Partition is already the 3rd (urban?) single

Oh wow it wasn't really big outside the US right? I've never heard it on radio or seen its video and no one in my circle of friends has posted it on any social network :rip: Beyonce is not as big of an era as some stans make it out to be.

It wasn't an international full single. It was just sent to select urban radio markets.

US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (Billboard) 9

US Rhythmic (Billboard) 7

UK R&B (Official Charts Company) 15

Those are the only real 3 charts we can use to gauge Partition. It also went #1 on Urban in US. It performed fairly well.

Yes I just can't stand bublegum pop music. I feel like its for 5 year olds. Gaga's onlysong and video that had approached that style is Eh, Eh and I have only watched the video and listened the song 3 times. :emma:

Also don't ask about radio, its doing bad for this week, this is our big problem. I hope from the next week we will see a rise and tje discounts will end...

Thank you :)

I forgot the songs on the album tbh but I know I liked XO (flopped), Mine, and Pretty Hurts most of all. I think PH could be a decent hit.

Ha! That's why we clash then. Very different taste.

Eh, Eh and Summerboy are a few of my favorite Gaga tracks. I wish Summerboy got a full commercial release.

Thank you :)

Me too.

I think PH should be her next pop single, and Mine should go to urban/rhythmic. For Beyonce's position though, I think it was more of selling albums and getting some radio airplay before focusing on her family again. I'm not sure how long she'll make the era.

Maybe. DWUW was a better single choice, but in my opinion the Christina version should've been the one sent to radio (a little bit better of course...). There's so many big mistakes that have had a lot of impact on GUY's current chart performance, but it's all been done now. With the lead single for the next album (unless it's C2C) she'll potentially have a smash again, but she would need to make something catchy and simpler.
