She's almost never really caused a commotion tbh. Everybody has a strong opinion on artists like Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga 'ugh I LOATHE her!' or 'I love her so much', but with Katy Perry it's 'yeah I kinda like her' 'yeah, I liked a few of her songs'. Radio's great to Gaga, it even tried to play MTN and gave DWUW wayyyyy more airplay than its sales deserved. GUY is in the lower 400s of iTunes. If I was a DJ I'd be reluctant to play it too.
