Slojo 51
what if gaga releases her 50th album at the age of 89 tho She would still have her name on the oldest person album so it's a win win situation :)
VforVendetta 2,024
If only he would live another decade and screw the charts. Like really.. the last thing we must hope is his death in order for C2C to sell better.. Anyways, yes I see longevity for this era. I didn't hope fo rhim to die for the sale. I just said that it will happen sooner or later, unless if Cher has told him her secret.
Bt1 5,213
6th Comeback U should edit your post. Lets not think about that no matter in which section we are. Anyway, it was really a nice race to watch for the no 1 and Gaga and her management knew what to do to make it happen. This is a really good sign that things should go good for C2C and it deserves that.

This is a really good sign that things should go good for C2C and it deserves that. It's not offensive though. He is an old man and humans die. I did not say that we should expect him to die for the sales, I said that it's natural that he will die sometime like all of us. I edited a bit though cause you are right, I didn;t express it well. I just said that it will happen sooner or later, unless if Cher has told him her secret. You know I like you, but that's just not alright. The man has a wife, children and grandchildren. He is a tireless advocate for arts in the schools and other worthwhile causes. No life should be diminished to something as trivial as album sales. Plus, do you realize how devastated Gaga would be? If you want to think selfishly, think about that! Gaga is such a soft hearted and emotional person, I feel like she would take Tony's death extremely hard. Foivos 64
A bit off topic: For those who have been saing "wtf is Barbra" the whole week, this only shows her power. monketsharona 79,695
I tried to locate the possible ways that C2C can regain popularity and comeback to the charts and not only through it's Era and life span (considering that almost everything goes well and to our favor) First week sales Second week sales Third Week sales Let's say that after the third week the album will be out of the top 40 of itunes. (a not delusional and slightly negative concept) 1st Comeback: Black Friday (perfect gift album) 2nd Comeback: Christmas Sales (the same) 3rd Comeback: Pre-Grammys (considering that we get noms + the show) 4th Comeback: After the Grammys (considering that we will win at least one) 5th Comeback: At the beginning of the Tour 6th Comeback: Tonny's Death (no flaimbait, we are in the charts section and I need to translate everything into numbers, we all know that Tony is 88 already so it is meant to happen sooner or later like fo all of us sometime) sad to say that but you're right ! Madison Square Garden New York 33,514 / 33,514 (100%) $11,313,050 Average ticket price : 360 dollars She is a very powerful Tour force in the US. Don;t forget that she is considered a music legend abd icona nd that she is at her 72 as well. For big acts, Tour power frows with the years.

If you want to think selfishly, think about that! Gaga is such a soft hearted and emotional person, I feel like she would take Tony's death extremely hard. I don't think selfishly, I think charts. :koons: (and I know how much it would hurt Gaga but she knows it as well) If you ask me as a person out of here, I wish that he would live for another 90 years, I am just stating the facts. Not mentioning deah is like being a hypocrite. Death will find you anyway, he doesn't forget. It's like saying Gaga will die one day and her legacy will live on. It's not selfish thinking, it's objective thinking and it's much more honest than pretending that it won't happen and then track the sales when it does. This album can have a very promising run. It probably won't have a smotth run but it can have many comebacks. Like 75%+ of the album sales will be from 2014 tbh. We shouldn't worry about later than 2015. Two comebacks for 2014 isn't enough. We need more to keep momentum going: - Grammy nominations - Special airing on TV - possible promo? We'll be pleasantly surprised. This has appeal beyond the fanbase, and to physical CD buyers (not just Monsters who pre-ordered like last time). Bennett just did the Tonight Show. Remember that without the HSN deal and autographed copies, the 'actual' sales are 107k. If we take away 60% from 107k, we keep 43k, which would mean a 68% drop. To make it more understandable: the HSN copies inflated the sales this week, so the drop will also be inflated because of those. Just like how Madonna's MDNA tour+album package and Gaga's $0.99 deal inflated their album sales and drops.
