In 1 hour during the HSN special it sold 15,400 copies. However, they are going to air a re-run today at 7AM, so it probably could sell up to 20,000 in the end. What is that thing about the number of pre-orders C2C have? What did HSN reveal? HSN stands for Home Shopping Network. Basically they gave a special offer - get a deluxe C2C album for only $13.99 THIS hour. During that time they aired Gaga/Tony interview and studio sessions, recording, played a lot of songs. The host kept saying "remember you can get this special deluxe album ONLY tonight, its an amazing gift for the holiday season". And while the show was on, we could see on the screen how many copies were being bought. When the show ended 15,400 copies were bought. These are physical pre-orders for C2C. Luc 4,775 Posted September 14, 2014 Share Posted September 14, 2014 this album is not gonna sell 200K it's 160 on iTunes and it's out in 10 days sorry guys but I don't believe these "estimated 200K, inside sources" aint happening. I'm predicting 130K for it's debut. True. I think that C2C will be way more based on promo and physical sales. And remember that the hype is not big at all. I ahve yet to purchase any of the singles and I haven't pre-ordered the album either, I just know that I'll buy it the week it's released. That's all. While with ARTPOP, I had it pre-ordered and bought all singles and everything on the first hour or so. This could make a big difference in pre-orders and first day sales. I'm predicting 140k in the US, but it's incredibly hard to predict anything tbh. Digital sales make up for a much larger percentage of sales than in 2011, and of course it's a combination of the digital queen and the physical king (not a king but at least a good seller).
