Actually everybody knows she is in decline.. No-one can drag you for telling the truth ;) People can keep on saying 'Music not the bling', but we all know they want her at the top too... She's still a pop star so yes I think the 'bling' is important as well if she doesn't want to be considered as a 'flop' or a 'has-been'...

I really want this era to be over... I hope future will be brighter ! :)

No, there are still people who dont admit Gaga's current chart status. Ive been drag for many times already for sayinh things like that.

Anyway, I agree, lets just focus on the future. :)

ARTPOP did more Worldwide. I'm kind of surprised that Miley's WW numbers aren't any better, when you look at how well she did in the US. She doesn't even have a 2 to 1 ratio.

No. ARTPOP is at 1 830 000

Whether it's the closest to the actual sales or not, the claimed sales recognized by the industry is the one that always prevail in a debate between actual sales and claimed sales (shipments) since the labels-released info is the one being referenced by the media most of the time, if not all the time. It wouldn't stop unless an industry-recognized organization like SoundScan, not a mere site like Mediatraffic whose presence isn't still well-known among the mainstream, creates a bulletproof global sales tracking system.

I'm not saying this just to defend Gaga, but this has been the practice even before her, and that's the use of label-released info as the 'actual sales', at least within the media and the fans - from The Beatles (1 billion claimed record sales) to Michael Jackson (750 million claimed record sales) to Britney Spears (100 million claimed reported album sales) and even Gaga's contemporaries (Rihanna's 150 million+ claimed record sales). So I don't see any reason why the numbers from IFPI or her label shouldn't be used. As I've said before, the ones reading the articles wouldn't take time to dispute the numbers presented to them as 'shipments' or what's the real 'actual sales'. That argument is only limited to online pop forums.

True dat, i don't even get why mediatraffic exists. It's ridiculous how ppl are using that over IFPI.

As long as this doesn't drop out of the top 400 while she's there, I'd take it happily.  :dies:
