We need some killer performance that will show Gaga's vocals so people can appreciate her (even though she has shown numerous of times how good of a singer she is, a lot of people just don't get it or they don't want to) A Grammy perf only gets like 45 million viewers in total... So things like that don't really help that much, unless it's done a lot. It's mostly general respect, word of mouth and social media. There's this Halo acoustic performance on youtube that everybody's seen at least once, and then there's stuff like Glastonbury and her being used as an example of a talented singer. Gaga only has one hit song where the GP hears her vocal abilities really well, and that's Yoü and I. All of Beyoncé's songs show her vocal power. It's sad that the GP doesn't do their research, but they like making random assumptions and stuff instead... Hopefully this album gets a very positive reaction. Speechless has been performed on many american shows with different audiences each. She's been showing them she can sing since 2009. What else could have been the cause she was performing that song so many times when it wasnt even a promo single. Yes she wanted people to listen to a new song from The Fame Monster that wasnt on the radio but she could have gone with DITD which represents better the album since all the songs are dance/electropop.
