I think MANiCURE might do okay as a single. Of the songs performed at Swinefest, it was the only one that I found myself really bopping to on first listen, personally.

Sexxx Dreams doesn't stand a chance especially as another s-xual song from Gaga after GUY (inb4 no one has heard GUY) while MANiCURE is too bland for Gaga (I stan for SLAYiCURE tho). Gypsy is the only clear choice. I'd love Venus but not now. And I still can't at this forum wanting to bash Venusians or not give Venus enough credit. It's an album highlight and the chorus screams hit. Anyway I digress. Let people who want Venus as a single say it without bashing their opinion.

And yes, G.U.Y. flopped because of lack of promo, like every pop single would flop. Without promo none of pop songs have a chance becoming a hit.

For me G.U.Y. is like BDR and Eh, Eh. And DWUW is like Starstruck and Hair.

ARTPOP has only one full single and that's legendary Applause.

I hate to be a downer, but everyone needs to just give up hope. At this point, it's out of her fans control. ARTPOP won't push any more big numbers as an album and you won't hear her on the radio until she has new material out.

 

She's not re-releasing DWUW with a music video. She's not going to re-release the album with PARTYNAUSEOUS. She's not going to shorten ARTPOP Vol. 2 to an EP and release it this summer. Gypsy won't be release to be a summer single.

 

It's over. It's done. Yes, it was a terribly managed mess from start to finish, but it's done now.
