Scream and Shout was released after major flops as well and Will.I.am is irrelevant compared to Gaga. The public doesn't have anything against Gaga, the attention just wasn't in her this era. This can change any time. This. Only Katycats try hard to spam her videos saying she's over. Other people just don't care. If Gaga return with something very good and a good promo. They're going to eat it... A collab with Britney could be huge ! If radios play it a lot and if the promo is strong, she could have her next huge hit ! Platinum on lock. Everybody knows Britney. Everybody knows Gaga. They both have a HUGE fanbase (enough for a 250k debut together in the US). And knowing Gaga's team, there'll be a huge radio deal and it'll get 30M AI first-week. Then it'll struggle a bit, until it gets a video and radio support. But I simply think that there's no surprise release coming. Don't you think Gaga would've told fans backstage or at least said something or would've given a cryptic hint? And when did they film the video? BritGa will be a flash in the pan. They both cannot promote, they have their own projects, no music video and both at an all time low in their carreer, sales wise. I wish Gaga well, I wish Britney well, had it been 2012 this would have been "OK". But at where they stand today as artists it's not a smart move. Not now though. 2015 VMAs sounds like a better time. It's atm pop girl crisis I guess radio will have a huge male domination for some time... So not the right time for this collab. They can both return with a smashing album and huge hit songs. Britney Jean and ARTPOP didn't have the chance to get support from radios and the press. Katy had this chance with Prism, good for her. I think people overestimate Katy as well. One day radios are going to turn their back to her and Katycats will stop boasting after that. Just don't underestimate Gaga and Britney's power. I was more than happy gifting a monster that didn't have enough money to buy the album. Also, for the UK, I ordered the Vinyl :p And I said I wanted the APPLAUSE CD VERSION FFS, and then the idiots gave my dad "an album that contained the song you want" I wrote it clearly on the paper Oh well. Well in the real world where "Kats" "Little Monsters" and "Army" is considered a joke nobody really gives a hoot about Britney or has been followed for years. Gaga should focus re-building her "brand" first, a collab with someone that's not considered an artist or singer for ages is something you can allow yourself to do when you're on a high tide. It feels like Gaga's put in the same category as Nicki, Kesha, Katy and Miley here.. but Gaga doesn't seem to care.. she could get so much respect from the public (which would reflect in future media/reviews). Gaga should be put in thesame category as Bey, Xtina and Adele. (Yes I know Gaga doesn't like to be put in a box like that but it's simply how the public thinks of Pop music..)
