She better end the era with G.U.Y. because releasing a 4th single when we know that people are not interested on ARTPOP is useless and pointless, save the money for something better!

They should release a 4th single.

You know why?

Because they have nothing left to lose.

Omg I laugh so hard

Oh yes they do. The more flops she has now, the less spins they'll give the lead single in its first few weeks.

Gypsy wait her official release.

35 000 000 views for G.U.Y. In one month. I remember That: 30 million for You&I in one month. I think it's bad for G.U.Y.

The short version has over 5 million views too  :ARTPOP:

But why would they play it in the first place?

In my country, GUY hasn't been played on any radio station yet and they only will if it enters top 10 on itunes, which it won't since it has no airplay  in other countries that will be the same with a fourth single.

Im talking US, if it becomes a hit in tbe US other countries will follow as well.

That is not true.

Oh yes it is true. Do you think that if Britney released a brand new lead single right now it'd do as good as Katy's brand new lead single? :awkney: it is true and extremely logical. If an artist has performed well with their previous singles, they're more likely to give the new single a chance.

Comparing radio's sweetheart to a dead person doesn't make your point valid.

nn not u talking about something insanely different :rip:

Let me say it this way: If Gaga releases Gypsy and it underperforms her next lead single will receive absolutely the same airplay It would receive without Gypsy being released as 4th single.

Comparing radio's sweetheart to a dead person doesn't make your point valid.

you are so wrong for that :deadbanana:

It really does :awkney: Katy is radio's sweetheart for a reason: her songs become big radio hits that everybody likes. That's why radio is more likely to play a new Katy song than a new Gaga, Britney, Kylie, Cher or whoever else's single. It's building a reputation. Not bias or payola.

If Gaga has another single that flops now, radio will remember that her last 3 (up to 8 in some places) singles flopped too and that their listeners would be likely to dislike this single too, so they are unlikely to even give the new single a chance.

If Rihanna didn't release Rude Boy as the 4th single off RR,  she wouldn't have gotten a number 1 hit :}  And they will defo give Gaga's lead single a chance.  She is no Britney, Kylie, Cher yet.
