it was never up.

It was around 800-900 two days ago, with the lyrics video I thought it would enter at least top 200. With the vido G.U.Y. peaked around 130, so I guess that's not so bad !

Are DJs seriously embarassed to play GUY during the day or something?  Why?  Is it cuz its an anthem for powerbottoms all over the world?  :toofunny: What kind of mess  :awkney:

No, they are not embarrassed about playing a song about s-xual positions. :fail:

They are treating it like a typical third single, though. Majority of spins often times start out at night or even early mornings, until they can work it slowly into their playlist. I've seen them do with this songs that go on to become top 10 hits. The next few weeks will tell us what will happen with this song.

The Voice is the best solution ..  Can she perform there before the artRave ?

Probably not. The live shows start the week of April 28th. With 12 current contestants to get through, and the fact that the judges and then the mentors get slots, it will be a while before they have an artist on. (who isn't associated with the show in some way)

She has had two number one hits. Plus, U.S. radio has consistently supported Katy more than any other artist in the world, since the beginning of the TD era. There is no other artist they treat like her.

Not a good comparison.

I agree.  When people used to say "Capitol - payola etc.." I always said that Capitol ain't paying anything. . . Radio is just so biased

I think Birthday and G.U.Y. will have a similiar grow on radio. Either it's going to flop either it's going to be hits... We can be sure both tracks are going to be aired at the the time on radios...

in what world ?  As far as I know there is not even add date for Birthday yet and it's getting bigger updates than GUY ...

You really can't compare Gaga and Katy on the radio. We all know the radio loves Katy. Once they hear she's releasing another single, they start to spin her song right away. It has never been that way for Gaga. She was never a radio darling like Katy. Plus, Katy has come off two smash singles. Radio would automatically want to play her next song, the same can't be said for Gaga. It's useless to keep making that comparison. It's like beating a dead horse, now.

Also, before someone says this is an "excuse", anyone that follows the charts and listen to radio knows this.
