Then she only needed to deliver a reasonably catchy and non-abrasive dance song to have a hit, but messed up. Interesting point. I wonder what would have happened if BTW would have been more of a dance/rock mix (with songs like Applause, G.U.Y., SDs mixed with BTW, TEOG, Y&I ) and also less focused on LGBT and the oppressed? She was still a massive selling force in my mind. When ARTPOP debuted I already had expectations it wouldn't be great, but even then it was lower than expected. Not the case for me, we just had a new video and a new tour it's so sad :cry: Gaga truly has decayed a lot.
