But Applause, a typical Gaga dance track, peaked at #4 (staying in the Top 10 for 14 weeks) and sold 2.4 million. I'd say the public prefers her in the way she was introduced to mainstream radio Cons - Lyrics are pretty unrelatable and are embarrassing to sing along to if the GP truly listens to what the lyrics are saying.
