(Click for bigger picture) SO, A few things I've noticed and some things I'm speculating: It seems that the catwalks are a lot higher than the main stage (6) and the second platform (2). The runway seem to rise out of the main stage (6) to (5) and it looks like it comes down at 2. It also looks like it goes higher between 2 and 1. I'm guessing 1, 3, 4 and 5 are the same height, there's no security barrier because it would probably be too high for monsters to climb. The Born This Way Ball runway was like 2 meters high, right? So I'm thinking these would be at least 3m, plenty of room to dance underneath, but because they're clear you could still see everything and have a unique view. The pillars also seem to have an interesting design, so there's that to look forward to. Yeah, the mainstage (6) and platform 2 are definitely lower because there are security barriers around. Because the main platform (3) seem to be at the same level as the catwalks, I'm thinking at some point the piano platform goes up like So Happy I Could Die during the Monster Ball, otherwise nobody would see anything. Maybe she does one song there for the ARTPOP zone then she goes up so that the rest of the venue can get a better look. I don't know why there would be that perfect circle stage there instead of just putting the piano on the white floor. Plus, it looks like that circle stage is made of transparent lucite so that you would actually see under her if it went up. They could use the same mechanical lift than the Monster Ball and you would get a great view, even from underneath. I don't know what those white spots are next to the piano though, maybe a way to distribute the weight more evenly if the platform goes up. Maybe they're seats for her musicians if she were to do a song like Gypsy up in the air, it would look amazing. The main stage display (6) doesn't look very high in comparison to her other tours. There's a silhouette on top of it next to the dome (probably for scale) as well as another silhouette underneath the dome. So, if they're of average height, the whole structure probably reaches 5 meters high with most of it being around 3m. Another "unsual" thing is how her band is displayed on the stage instead of being hidden inside the structure, especially the drums. I don't think we'll see big changes between the acts like her previous tours. I think it's gonna be a lot more organic, the lighting and the backdrop are probably gonna run the different parts of the show instead of being articulated around different tableaux. I also think she's gonna spend a lot more time on the different platforms than on the main stage. The most striking thing when you look at the stage are the catwalks. The main stage structure is not extravagant, it just looks like a prop to set the scene, and then the action is bound to happen anywhere. Her time is probably gonna be divided evenly between the main stage and the catwalk, instead of being like 80% stage 20% catwalk rounds. A real party with Gaga everywhere. (I still can't figure out what the hell is on platform 2 though. ) Great explanation ! thank you :) i'm really excited to see the real thing and of course the tour! AdelaAngelo 0 Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) Not sure if i like it, i mean i see what theyre trying to do; everyone in the arena getting at least a descent view, but i dont think its excuted that well i mean no matter where you stand, theres gonna be at least one performance you wont be able to see, TMB and TBTWB>>>>> yeah like, i spend 300$ on a LMZ ticket so i could get a good spot but this is so ****ed up. no matter where i go i will miss half the show. at least with the btwball the most dedicated (not rich) monsters who camped the most etc would go into the pit and get noticed by gaga. i know shes trying to satisfy as many ppl as possible (also with the prices) but in order to give others (random ppl who were curious to see the show) a sufficient view she prevents the actual fans from getting front row and being close to her. idk i guess i will just wait for videos from the first concerts to see how things work but rn im confused as **** and kinda disappointed.
