LOTS of people didnt like it and are being critical...this wouldnt have happened a couple years ago. People worshipped her then...now shes sliding and people are starting to 'revolt' Gaga is iun a dark, frustrated, bitter place, and so are many of her fans. Anytime she does or says anything since December, it's like all this unresolved b---hiness over DWUW video and no 3rd single comes out. "Shut up Gags and get to work or slaying charts again." I have no issue with the puking, its just all fake. Shes been doing nothing for months and this is what she does?? Like wtf. I don't know. There are musicians all over the world who have never come close to Gaga's fame and success but they make the music/the art they want to make and they do it for themselves and for the fans who appreciate it. Then ofc there are those who used to be mainstream acts but decided to go their own way and do as they liked. If you say so, I think it's totally unfair to blame those who criticize her new persona. It's kind of a shock for them when she changed just like that overnight. But then again, I think (and hope) that whatever direction she's taking this era is only for this era as she's trying to prove to the masses how much of a creative brave artist she is, which is cool, really, but I don't like it that much. Everyone has their opinions, BUT if you expected Gaga to do like a normal show with dancers, choreography and that stuff, you are very wrong! She's about as far from getting dropped as it's possible to be. Still one of the biggest stars in the world, and if for some reason she parted with Interscope, she'd be snapped up by another label instantaneously (assuming she wanted to be). Are people under the delusion that it's number one or nothing? The vast majority of signed artists never have a top ten hit ever in their lives. And ARTPOP was number one. A lot of people i know have been commenting on how "normal" Gaga has been lately and how they like the new Gaga. Well this performance kinda changes that lol. I was shocked as i was watching it and really didn't know what to think but i soon as i got over the initial shock i was pretty happy with it ! But for some reason i felt sad watching it, Gaga seemed idk in pain and deep down i could sense sadness from her for whatever reason. She's dedicated and conscientious. Now, I'll tell you a secret: I don't like puke art, either. And I don't care for seeing Gaga getting puked on. BUT, I can appreciate the difference between personal taste, and whether or not something qualifies as art. And I can admire Gaga's willingness to do this, and her commitment to her art, even as I flinch from the act itself. She's here to challenge us... and clearly, she succeeded. Thats my point. I dont see it as art and I won't. Thats how it is. The puking was nothing new, she did it already in a Video, and even years ago i was borred about cause if you can't make your own Art than just do something disgussting or be naked, cause it is so much easier to shock than to create something people have to think about it. I only had a problem that her vocals where so terrible and that just borred me, and everything felt so damn fake, nothing felt natural to me. And people saying "Go stan for Katy or Miley" are beeing disrespectful to us, to Gaga, to Katy/Miley and their fans. Why do you have always to drag someone to prove your point? You see, you are still acting as though there is something for someone to be blamed for. You didn't like the show, we get it but why do you feel like you need to bring everyone else down? That is all you are doing and then you complain when you get similar treatment from other users. You are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to point out how rude and childish you sound and some other idiot is entitled to say you should go stan for Katy!
