KrisFromMars 9
How do ppl know what part Redone wrote? ( did gaga say?) flop fans making stuff up. :flop:
SpadesToStart 3,444
Gaga obviously wrote the country-naming ending. The "someday in Jakarta" and "I'm Italian" lines are stuff only she would include.
tokyodisko 0
...or they just try taking credit away from Gaga, tbh. ;) I'm sure this is a personal song for Gaga, very much so. Most collabs aren't "equal". I'm sure this song is like You and I or Edge of Glory- where the majority of the lyrics came from Gaga. It's beyond obvious. Well, yeah, that's what I said. I don't think she came up with it on her own. Lyrics are very her, but the way they flow together aren't her usual rhythm- especially from ARTPOP. She may have wanted to list them, but RedOne seems like he helped with more than production there. It's unlikely he "only" helped with the repetitive part of the song. This is Gaga's style though. Lyrically? Maybe the idea of mentioning the countries was Gaga's, but I don't think it's her flow. It sounds like one of them came up with the idea and they worked together. Lyrics to Gaga and tailoring them for the music to RedOne.

djBuffoon 12,115
This...I don't get the hype over Gypsy or why it needs to be a single. The outro of the song feels very cluttered and annoying with the I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm gypsy gypsy gypsy gypsy africa uk london usa brazil tokyo etc... :megaflop: Annoying is extremely subjective. Fast and wordy? Yes. But, cluttered? How so? Everything fits in the rhythm... Have you HEARD This Is How We Do(n't Make Good Music)? At least Gaga had a reason for naming all those places that she has actually been to and has been touched by and it's not THAT basic. Correct. She needs to stop And hire some people to help her write

Cluttered in the sense that she tries to name all her fave countries in the last 20 seconds of the song.... It's like a broken record too.... Cuz I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm a Gypsy Gypsy Gypsy I'm I'm I'm I'm... :megaflop: It's annoying to me. I don't see genius in that tbqh Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
