Gypsy Life 118,907 Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 It was a close call between Lady Gaga's "Applause" and Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" in the battle of the pop divas, but "Applause" managed to squeak out a win with 53 percent of the votes cast in the poll. Gaga's Top 5 hit will face more stiff competition in Round 2 when it battles Rihanna's "Stay," which struck down last year's Song of the Summer, "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke, with 61 percent of the vote.
