Cause she attracted a lot of fans with a snobby attitude about dance pop, who think her 2008-09 hits are "generic" when they were revolutionary at the time in North America. Gaga has evolved a lot since then and she has taken much more control over her career. Her next 3 albums are much much better. Her voice just sounds so different on some songs to me. I guess its the auto tune or something, I mean it is supposed to be electro-pop. Paper Gangster is by far one of the best songs ever though. But there is a lot of fillers and Retro, Dance, Freak makes my ears bleed.
