Do you think ARTPOP is more commercial or more experimental based on today's radio standards? Or do you think it is equally balanced between both?

Commercial personally.

There are some tracks that are more out there but for the most part, commercial

Based on today's radio standards I'd say it's a bit more experimental in general

If songs like Roar get so much airplay, then it's way too damn experimental :smh:

Well:

Experimental: Aura, Venus, JnD, ARTPOP, Swine, Fashion!, Marry Jane Holland

Commercial: G.U.Y., Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Do What U Want, Donatella, Dope, Gypsy, Applause

ARTPOP is commercial but experimental too.

Experimental cuz all the songs have some sort of experimental element to it that makes it a bit risky for radio.  But tracks like Venus, Aura, Mary Jane Holland, and Swine take the cake for being really out there and risky.

Battle 4 Ur Life

is totally experimental...Prism is a commercial album...MDNA is a commercial album...ARTPOP is not commercial at all...Venus is commercial? she's practically saying penis and playing spanish guitar on a promo single. MJH? I don't see radios playing "piss" anytime soon. she said like a million times it would be risky and that you never know if radio is ready...she got it right...Applause, DWUW and Gypsy (maybe G.U.Y) are the only "mainstream" tracks of the record and they don't sound like nowadays radio hits @ all. besides it's a Parental Advised Explicit record...

I really don't know how no-one has picked up on the fact that the first half of the album is intended to be the ART and the second half the POP, with ARTPOP dividing them in the middle of the tracklisting.

Some songs are definitely more commercial than others (i.e. Gypsy, Applause) but overall I think the album is pretty experimental compared to the sh*t we hear on the radio.

Roar "getting airplay" is an understatement. The U.S. STANS for that song. I honestly feel like ARTPOP is more on the experimental side and it's funny because I can already tell what's gonna happen. All the stans of other artists that clown ARTPOP for being "weird" are gonna be rocking out when THEIR fave puts out something with a very similar sound and aesthetic. That's why I thought all the initial ARTPOP shade was in vain. People always try to clown Gaga then turn around and do exactly what she's doing.

So you think songs like Aura, MJH, Swine, ect. are very commercial?

It's very commercial, there's nothing experimental tbh.
