Katie14 4,828
did you take the time to read the posts I made after this?... I didnt think so... Then, I didnt spend my time on reading over two lines of your meltdown, we're even now! Actually I did read your others posts. You said said she was "heavy" and tried to defend yourself by saying her attitude is bad and she doesn't care about the way that she looks. Essentially that she let herself go and indicating that she should lose weight or wear something "more flattering". Im sorry but your explanation doesn't make what you said originally ok. Gaga doesn't need to look a certain way. That is the whole point. I think you are the only one with the bad attitude and you are the one having a meltdown. AquaFire Witch 160
When I first discovered Gaga I remember some of the earliest shows I saw her in her ripped fish nets looking like a hot mess but putting on one hell of a performance. This performance was amazing. Of course this comes from a child of the 90’s who saw Courtney Love run around the stage half naked with her guitar before jumping into the crowd… so this was nothing lol.I embrace your creative rebellion Gaga! It’s wonderfully rock and pop and dirty glam. It’s so much fun.As for the PUKE. OMG I stuck around twitter over the weekend reading the comments. Millie calling out Demi on her past remarks about artists being able to express themselves... but Gaga can not? Ha it was perfect. I really AM not bothered by that vomit bit. It was wickedly cool. And yes it was very rebellious, but kids themselves are old enough now to say if they don’t want to follow an artist like Gaga. I think we don’t give the youth enough credit sometimes in these matters. And seeing one of my old fave MTV VJ's (John Norris) give an amazing interview and support Gaga just confirms to me that she is doing something right. Whispering 18,865
Well. I'm not crticizing her weight, just her FU attitude, with this whole I'm gonna wear whatever. That isn't the Gaga I used to know, the glamorous, designer-dressed one. I know people change but this is ridiculous. Seems like she's going thru an identity crisis. She has to make up her mind whether she wants to make Pop Music and stand for Pop culture or just be an alternative artist that doesn't want to appeal to the masses. You just can't be both. PERIOD! From Gaga: "That's the thing that poisoned me ... (people saying) 'We want you to be beautiful' over and over and over in my head until I just wanted to look ugly all the time because I'm rebellious," Lady Gaga said. "Don't tell me not to do anything because it's going to happen. That really crushed me. I've won Grammys now. I've written albums. I've toured the world four times. You're telling me to be beautiful? That's what this is all about? Is it all about tits and a--? That's so sad." Glamorous? Designer dressed? Gaga has made a career out of making herself look bizarre and at times downright ugly. She goes the opposite of glamorous, unless she is representing Versace at some event, and then she honors the brand and her commitment to the designer. Other than that, you might get bizarre make-up, hideous moles and disfiguring boney protrusions on her face and extreme wigs of every shape, size and color. Gaga might be covered in dirt, blood, grass, raw meat or she might be naked! (or as close to it as she can legally get in public) She might not have a drop of make up on or she might have her entire head covered where you can't even see her face or hair. Gaga might be on stage in a huge white light up gown or she might be rocking the fishnets and leather bikini. Gaga has always been a "I'm going to wear whatever" kind of artist. She wears what fits her mood, style and era at the current time. Where have you been!? Gaga hasn't changed, she has ALWAYS been this way. Psychedelic 1,098
Actually I did read your others posts. Gaga doesn't need to look a certain way. That is the whole point. I think you are the only one with the bad attitude and you are the one having a meltdown. Well, then do not have meltdowns when she doesn't sell records, doesn't have radio hits and has everyone in the press criticizing her. I'm sorry, she wanted to be a popstar and she stood for that during The Fame era, and that's how people used to percieve her. We unfortunately live in a world that cares for image and looks, mostly in the enterainment bussiness. If Gaga wants to do whatever she wants, look the way she feels confortable with, she's completely entitled to doing so. But I bet she has a lot of people like me, behind her, advicing her to go in the original direction in a way,for her career's own good. It's just a little advice. But I gues she doesn't wanna listen. Then she goes on twitter and starts having meltdowns over people criticizing her, and not supporting her. Does she care what people say or ACUALLY not? Does she wanna be a pop artist or an alternative one? She can continue to have these contradictions, she can do what she wants. But I'm sure she's having an idenity crisis, and getting drunk on stage is not healthy aitude in any way. If obsessed fans wanna continue to support whatever she does instead of acting like a REAL friend would, and tell her in which thing she's not doing her best effort. FINE. But do not complain about consequence after, because it is CLEAR there has been such!

I've been to a place where Gaga might not look pretty, or her best, but doesn't get on stage drunk and yells vocals to a back track while getting puked on. It's all the elements combined that worry me! But it is useless discussing with stans, that support Gaga on whatever she does, even if she isn't giving her best... and it is CLEAR she is not. How many months did she let pass by with no promo at all, and when she's supposed to be back on track, she get up on stage DRUNK... jeez... sorry but that's not a healthy mental or physical attitude in any way. I'd rather act like a best friend would, and speak up about what I think she's not doing right so she can improve for own good! Gaga is probably the most talented yet down to earth pop star there's ever existed, does not mean she cannot improve. It is obvious she is at crisis on her career righ now. It's not like she's a disaser but she could be doing better things if she ever listened to others' points of view just a little without stopping being herlself tho! She wasn't yelling vocals to a backing track. It was one particular moment in one particular song. Gaga was singing throughout the rest of the show, like she usually does. Dope and Gypsy showed how she was completely in control of herself and her vocals, including the speech she made before both. Her SXSW keynote speech showed that Gaga knows exactly what is going on and what is expected of her and knows what she is willing to do with that. She isn't in the mood or mindset to be your personal "glamorous" Barbie doll and I don't blame her one bit! She's got more important things to do, than to try to please a handful of overly negative trolly "fans" who complain about anything and everything. Gaga will never please these types of miserable fans and I'm glad she isn't even trying! This is not a crises, she was not drunk, she is not fat, and she doesn't yell her songs over backing tracks. SEANGT 4,993
I say so cause we've been"fighting" for pop music, "POP MUSIC WILL NEVER BE LOW BROW", remember? That's what I'm talking about. people forget the "this is ARTPOP" part of that quote. Also that POP is part of ARTPOP. She's just saying **** being stuck in the "pop" mold, ARTPOP is what I'm doing. She's literally raising pop music to a new level like she has always tried to do. This is literally what she meant by pop music never being low brow. She is raising it to a form of performance art. brdn08 12
My favorite show since Radio's big weekend. This is by far the most energetic we've seen Gaga since 2010. The vocals were pretty good IMO. The vocals on applause and MANiCURE were some of the best since the album came out.
