Psychedelic 1,098
Wait, how is that not the same? It was literally the same girl, doing the same thing. The only differences were the liquids, the outfits, and the setting. But in both instances it was the same performance, yet one is perfectly acceptable and the other isn't? Why? Why? Because when you see the background video, you might think it's gross, but in the back of your mind you know it's a VIDEO that could've been edited and she wasn't ACTUALLY puking. Stop trying to make me like the whole real vomitting thing, cuz I won't fall for that. It was disgusting. Cool if you see it artistic. To me it was nauseous!!! giskardsb 12,565
  Not to mention her attitude, the way she looked, her make up was bad, she looked heavy,    nothing about this is "heavy".
awpy 9
I thought it was really good! Enjoyed how laid back it was, have a few beers and just have some fun. Don't be up tight about performances and theatre practiced day and night to perfection. This was more of a let yourself go and just 'rave' as Gaga keeps saying - ARTPOP is silly fun, let your hair down and just take the music in!  Free your mind of all the seriousness people!
hausofmike 127
The Swine performance was ****ing disgusting. That's not art. Waiting to see other performances

Qualle1 1,385
I just saw Lady Gaga's GREAT PERFORMANCE!  I enjoyed every single second of her performance... The only song I had to skip was the horrible J 'N D, which I can't stand and never will.  Everything else was so much fun to see and hear.  What a wonderful experience for all of her fans, who were able to attend this unique event! Qualle1 1,385
Just a quick question for our fellow US-American Monsters: Is this actually one of the most important, famous and biggest music festivals in the USA? I am just wondering, because the bigger part of the audience was kind of dead... No cheering. No dancing. No clapping. Nothing! Just standing there, staring onto the stage and doing literally nothing. How ungrateful! :( Edited March 15, 2014 by Qualle1 MAKE LOVE NOT WAR
Psychedelic 1,098
of course it is. Â It's just art that you consider disgusting. That girl puking to make painting is ART. Lady gaga with her piano, singing beatifully to Gyspsy is ART. That girl puking paint on Gaga, while Gaga is barely yelling vocals in between a back track to an out of tune band, isn't ART, neither here, nor in Venus, nor in Andromeda galaxy, nor anywhere! Â Â nothing about this is "heavy". Â Well. I'm not crticizing her weight, just her FU attitude, with this whole I'm gonna wear whatever. That isn't the Gaga I used to know, the glamorous, designer-dressed one. I know people change but this is ridiculous. Seems like she's going thru an identity crisis. Â She has to make up her mind whether she wants to make Pop Music and stand for Pop culture or just be an alternative artist that doesn't want to appeal to the masses. You just can't be both. PERIOD! Nemo 4,219
I don't think that comments like "**** pop music" or "We are going to sing this one because we were told to" are okay, in my opinion they're disrespectful to us but I guess that doesn't matter to.How is that disrespectful to us? I'm not "pop music", and neither are you. The vomit thing was horrible and I think it can't be compared to the MB interlude, it's really differentIt's completely the same. The only difference is the arty black and white film adding a layer of imaginary distance. But it was the exact same experience for Gaga, as well as for Millie. and her vocals were awful.I don't understand this complaint at all. They seemed fine to me. (Of course, I hate the pre-recorded backing tracks, but that's another issue.) And I respect the ones who like it, but I don't like people praising something they don't like. As you've said there is people that love it, people that hate it and people that pretend to love it. I wasn't critizicing the ones who like it. What's your evidence that this describes anyone? Â I'm not trying to get you to like it, I'm just saying that it's the exact same performance. The Monster Ball interlude wasn't edited; Millie ACTUALLY vomited glittering puke on Gaga's white dress, and I personally thought it was beautifully done and a really interesting piece with plenty to a--lyze. The same goes for this "Swine" performance! Â Like I said, you don't have to like it, but don't delude yourself into thinking that the Monster Ball interlude was anything other than this same performance. Ascetic 0
Gaga's body looked AMAZING. It always does, but her ass was faaaaaabulous. Â And she wasn't sickly thin either

Dayum 240
of course it is. Â It's just art that you consider disgusting. Â I have a feeling if GaGa were to find another artist to defecate all over her, you would still defend her and her "art", by the logic of your definition.
