I don't know why all of you act like the performance was a masterpiece Stanning doesn't mean to like everything your fave does, it's okay if you don't. Some people just like it, some dont? That Swine performance was absolutely disgusting but it was great and it got everyone talking about her again. The only thing that bugged me was that her vocals lacked at certain points throughout her set. As for people saying that she was too messy and rocky and sloppy, did you honestly expect a polished pop show at a festival that pays dust to pop music? She changed it up and became more rocky like she always does when she is performing at a festival (Lollapalooza, V Festival, Glastonbury). If she honestly performed songs like Fashion! or Donatella, wore glittery costumes and changed them after every 2-3 songs she would have been laughed and quite possibly boo'd out the building and would have received criticism for probably being too bubblegum pop at a festival like this. Exactly and she said she was going back to her roots with this show, and she did. If people were expecting a huge production then... well, they shouldn't have :P I agree about the vocals though. everybody kissing her ass on this thread... smh ?? :roll: People aren't allowed to enjoy something just because you didn't? And I respect the ones who like it, but I don't like people praising something they don't like. As you've said there is people that love it, people that hate it and people that pretend to love it. I do not like this performance…I am all for her finding out who she is and lets be honest we have all gone through different stages in our lives we are just not in front of cameras 24/7 so we didn't have millions of people judging everything that we do. I am honestly just worried about her. I do not want her to wind up like Britney…having a huge meltdown because she felt like everyone was constantly judging her and she was never perfect enough. I know Gaga says she doesnt care about critics or tabloids and how well her album is doing but i think that we need to be a little worried about her because I honestly see this as a little bit of a spiral…. All I will say is that I hope it was not real puke, and I don't think that real bulimia should be used for performance art. Yes but at the same time it's also okay to enjoy most things she does and to think of it as a masterpiece, we all have opinions and if you didn't like it then you aren't being forced to watch it again so move on and get over it. I find it ridiculous that the trend now has become "let's all be negative about everything and if you dare to have a positive opinion then **** you, you're wrong."
