Got to admit I loved the Swine performance and I was proud to be a fan but the whole show seemed so try-hard and cringeworthy.  I am bored of the whole "**** Pop Music" and all that she preaches because her actions completely go against what she says.

The entire show was her screaming with a few bad vocals thrown in now and then and a majority of it was just a mess and so rushed.  Hate to say it but I really aren't a fan of this Gagz.

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

I don't study those things. What are you saying then? That she has planned this for a new fame era soon to be reached? That she is gonna come back in fame? That she is doing this on purpose?

Why do you not study Gaga's art? An artist puts out real art with meaning behind it and Gaga is an artist. What you are saying is that you don't try to interpret what is meant and that you want everything spoon fed to you which is the problem with this fan base. Would you have known what Swine was about if Gaga hadn't told us it was about rape? Would you have understood ARTPOP if Gaga hadn't explained it? These are rhetorical questions and aren't directed at you but prove my point that people don't "get" Gaga.

Lady Gaga's art throughout her career has been about the fame. How have you missed that? The comment of mine that you quoted above was my own interpretation. I think that the destruction of the pop star could be a possible performance piece and one that has been planned. But I could be wrong. All art is open to interpretation.

No offence but it seems to me that the majority of you are all a bunch of kids that want some Ariana Grande bubblegum crap with a bit of a shock value. But the moment Gaga "looks dirty" and does something no other pop star would do people start throwing tantrums. Well Gaga is Gaga and ain't gonna conform to what people think she should be.

I accept her warts and all. She might do a performance like this once in a while that isn't everybody's cup of tea but I appreciate her versatility and the meaning that she is trying to evoke to us. A lot of her fans don't appreciate the real feeling and emotion that she puts into her art.

I think when she criticised Applause and pop music she was actually just having a little rant about the fact that Interscope didn't let her have full creative responsibility. She might have wanted to perform MJH, for example but got told "no, perform a recent single". I don't think she is turning her back on ARTPOP. That is ludicrous.

I applaud Gaga for living up to her name and giving us something Gaga and not something mainstream. So thankyou Gaga, please continue to be yourself.

Freaking loved every single minute of it. You guys are never happy anymore lighten up

I'm not the type who complains, I want her to do what she wants. However I must say that I didn't enjoy this. Parts of it felt like a lame high school party. I'm not a fan of this alcohol culture and watching a bunch of people standing on stage drinking and smoking during performances of amazing songs was just sad...

The show was incredible. Better than swinefest IMO. Such a festival atmosphere and the performances were so raw and passionate. Loved it.

This was such an amazing performance, wild , uninhibited and raw. Gaga gave her heart and soul especially with Swine which was her greatest performance to date IMO .

I've just watched the whole thing.... Honestly, I am kinda speechless! It never happened to me, that I have nothing to say after Gaga's performance! All I can say is that the performances speak for itself!

She was Gaga, she was a rebellion, she was just so raw... I have to admit I was a bit shocked at first with the Swine performance obviously but that's what the song is about and she just showed that to us!

I can't stand the shear amount of "meltdowns" and cries that she's a loose canon now or that her career is over.

She is a performance artist. She's put on a performance.

And liking it or hating doesn't make you a better or worse fan.

"**** pop music" makes me sad, she shouldn't really say something like this even in the context etc. The thing wasn't as bad as some people are saying but it wasn't even stellar, she needs to focus more on her vocals and stop performing the bad songs! This version ofBad Romance was great though, and Applause and Gypsy too.

I'm glad she's doing her own thing, it showed that she was happy to just be free and do what she wanted. I'm just always so worried for her :ohno:

Swine was incredible    but the rest...  :sweep:

I'm glad us veteran fans were thrown a bone with Millie Brown's puking. Felt warmly nostalgic, rememebering that MB interlude.

I think in this festival she was more free than ever.  That's why this time i really don't understand some of your meltdowns guys !  :toofunny:

It was really perfect!  and besides this is the REAL girl behind the aura  ;)

For me, this was really fun!  and i'm glad that she did this, she was born to perform.

(and about the shocking things... can i remind you that she did something similar not only with that MB interlude, but with her go-go dancer days ?)   as Zilla said  some of you need to lighten up and be open

There are 3 recent topics about swine performance, and almost all the status are about it. Guess what, she did it again.

I think the show was very good. Not my taste, but I believe everything was planned to be edgy, rough and shocking at times. She spent the last few days listening to metal bands on a festival ffs, and her doing the routines and changing glittery costumes for every song would be much more out of place than this. There's no way the artRave would be anything like this, people need to take a chill pill! This was a one off stunt, bookmark me.  :fthis:
