miss anthropy 0 Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I actually enjoyed the show, for the most part. Swine, MANiCURE, J&D, Aura all worked very well in this kind of club setting. Her vocals were horrible most of the time and I cant help but cringe when she tries to prove to us how much of a rock star she is. Let alone the fact that she sings pop music, it's just that when you're a rock star, you dont need to prove anything and what she did just seemed try-hard af. Get ur shiz together, gaga. It was a one off set for SXSW, you do know that? :) Gaga empasized that strongly before the performance. ARTPOP ball is absolutely something else,...a WW tour. Guest Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but I just watched the whole show back, and I think it was actually incredible. I don't want her to always do this, but for this venue, I think everything was perfect. I was expecting her to come out and do a nice, clean set list with the long white wig, dancers, and the usual stuff, but she came out and completely ****ed my mind. I've never seen her so raw and having so much fun. This is what she wanted to do, and she got to do it exactly how she wanted it. She slayed, and I'm really glad she did this over the normal pop setlist with dancers and all that jazz. Still a little iffy on Bad Romance, but overall, tonight was ****ing flawless. HausAlly 799 Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) IT WAS FANTASTIC! most of you proberly dont GET IT because that was a ****in rock show! before i became a pop b---h, i was a heavy metal lover literaly, i only listened to bands like iron maiden, mettalica, bring me the horizon,MCR (im a huge stan) ect. and the point of a rock show is not orginization, it is BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, rock shows are supposed to be messy and dirty and you can never truly hear the singer proberly thats just how they are, but the thing about rock show is they always are an expression of emotions LIKE SWINE WAS FOR GAGA TONIGHT and some of you getting all butthurt cause she said **** POP and **** YOU to the audience need to get a grip THATS WHAT PEOPLE DO AT ROCK SHOWS it gets the audience riled up! i will leave you with an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGh_lV6pmV4 edit: also those of you who say she cant be a rockstar because she makes dance music, SHE JUST PROVED YOU WRONG TONIGHT! she can be both a pop star and a rock star!
