The endings (who wins and loses) are predetermined, wrestlers "sell" moves, which means they make it hurt more than it actually does. although some things can't be faked like jumping from the top rope or going through a ladder/table. Storylines are also a really important factor

thank you  i always have that doubt

Due to my age, I only started watching in 2005 and stopped in 2010 because everyone in school was like "it's fake", I started watching again since this years Wrestlemania, it's actually been really good. WWE have recently become more open to getting wrestlers from other promotions, like the 3 biggest signings in the last 2 years have all come from New Japan Pro Wrestling, the main reason why I started watching it. You should start back watching sis

Makes me feel old :neyde:

I grew up in its prime. Shaun Michaels was still around, the Undertaker hadn't become the "American Badass" yet, Kane was still this mysterious figure, and they weren't scared to do some outrageous stuff (dangerous or just risque). I even got to go to Wrestlemania and see Brock Lesnar slam the Big Show through the ring :rip: around the late 2000's it got really dull and boring though. I'll try to catch it again the next time I see it, hopefully it can capture my attention

The in-ring talent is amazing. They can't do as much "extreme" stuff as the attitude era due to their show being branded as "PG" since 2008. But still, some of the storylines and matches have been incredible since then. Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at WM25 and CM Punk vs John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011 to name a couple. Since they can't get cheap entertainment out of sexual or overly extreme stuff, the storylines and in ring abilities of the wrestlers have improved astronomically

Yaaasss! I'd go back and watch Kenny's match with Tanahashi. Good stuff.

I watch WWE as well. Big fan of the women's division, but also love Sami Zayn & KO.

Yes, just watched the draft and still watching lol

I'm just looking at twitter for the network picks. Have to say, Raw is looking like a far better show. They really haven't explained what they're gonna do with regard to the WWE Title, tag titles and women's title. They really need to work some wonders for SmackDown

So basically I'm a huge wrestling fan (WWE, NJPW, ROH, etc) and I just wanna know if anyone else on here likes pro wrestling too. If you don't watch WWE (by far the biggest wrestling promotion in the world) then now would be a great time to start. They're currently (at this exact moment of writing) having a draft to determine superstars for Raw and SmackDown. Also hoping we can discuss wrestling matters here, across any wrestling promotion.

I am a big wrestling fan too but I am mainly a WWE fan. Just finished watching the draft.
