It could be good news. Add up every artists' sales and free downloads, find a percentage of how many downloads were free, and use that to determine how many people, relative to other fanbases, were willing to pay for what they wanted.

It's not fair, Applause and ARTPOP appeared after 2013's first half.

And Katy had her Teenage Dream re-release going on from 2012 to 2013's first half.
