ARTPOP BALL: Is anyone else worried?

It was the first date in Hong Kong her mic wasn't working for Highway Unicorn and Government Hooker.

The first few dates in Asia were just so dark, dull and empty looking. The only thing I liked that she should have kept for longer was the make-up and hairstyle of those first few dates

Oh yes! It was Hong Kong! I remember hating the lighting the first leg of the tour. It was always dark and lights weren't at their full potential. Always a blue/grey/black hue. Noisy.

I also hated her hair until she brought the pink hair and then later the awesome brunette/neon green one. I hated the fox orange and yellow. The blonde during the European leg actually wasn't bad. I just hated that bump in the back of her hair she wore the entire tour almost

The fact that she hasn't even released a proper tour poster, not adding too many dates for the tour, not telling us ANYTHING about the stage, costumes, etc... Is worrying me... :awkney:

Maybe it's a good thing I didn't buy a ticket when I know so little about the tour ...

I don't even know what to think? Is she REALLY finishing ACT II to sing both on the tour?

vomits her mind

Im not worried at all. I totally understand why people would be concerned but it is gaga where talking about. Shes been planning this for a long time now. Shes a perfectionist, we all know that. Just have a bit of faith

I worry because she's always hyping us up and sharing things that she's doing/really excited about e.g. concepts etc. Perhaps she's learnt to stop getting our hopes up, incase things change/don't work out. But saying that there's no excuse for her not rehearsing during this entire downtime, so maybe it'll be the best show yet.

Whenever it comes to talking about the tour, it always feel like an empty topic like. We don't have that much to be excited for.

I have this sort of fear, but then again ive never been to a Gaga concert at all.. What ive seen sounds so personal and phenomenal that i know ill remember it forever and i have no frame of reference for "Bad".

I just have this recurring nightmare that she will break her hip again  :toofunny:

I want this tour to be clean and amazing and visually stunning.

ARTPOP could mean anything!

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

I love that she is quit this time around

Because it will be a surprise for us

Even tho I have to admit that the organisation is a little bit messy the album is pure gold and I am annoyed by all the negativity she gets from this fanbase

Stop the drama- start the music

Despite rushing and things, that doesnt change the damn fact that Gaga's charisma and on stage performances are on ****ing point, they're impactful and iconic. She could sing in front of a white screen for all I care, as long as she PEFORMS!

this is exactly how I feel

I don't think there's reason for anyone to ACTUALLY worry. I was more asking along the lines of "what if........considering...." type of thing. Of course her stage presence alone is enough to make the show.

I'm not worried, and I am a bit glad that things are quiet. I'd rather her come out with a bang than hype everything up and when it is not what other people expected, they bash her. ARTPOP as an album is so amazing. I love it! In my opinion, I think a lot of thought has already put into this, possibly teased and tested, and a few things regarding the set up have been released.

1. iTunes Music Festival, artRave, Jimmy Fallon - each of these have been very simplistic in terms of sets. The use of white (costumes, piano, stage, etc.) has been very promitent. Pinks and purples have been applied in light. I think the use of white will be used on the tour. White also signifies a blank canvas to which she can apply whatever "art" she would like during each song. Also, with iTunes Music Festival and the VMA's she took us through a journey of herself by costume changes on stage.

2. Any song from TFM or BTW  have already been choreographed and performed, other than costumes and the stage, I doubt much will change. She has always stated that when she writes her music/songs, she is always already conceptualizing the choreography, video, costumes, etc. It would be too drastic for her to change those up too much.

3. We already know that there will be 2 "runways" coming off the main the stage leading to the ARTPOP Zone. This is a great idea for 2 reasons - first, there are many fashion references in her music and those runways could be a way for her to bring a fashion show like idea to the audience. Second, if anyone went to the Justin Timberlake concert, that stage was genius! He had a VIP section where the ARTPOP Zone is set to be and he did not disappoint! A part of his main stage moved across the entire arena and he spent a good amount of time on the secondary stage giving everyone a chance to see him up close. He even danced IN the VIP section! The set up for artRave ARTPOP Ball will be similar and everyone will get a nice view!

4. It has already been released that the same stage designer from TMB is doing the stage for APB.

I love the music not the bling . . . Gaga could get up on an empty stage with just one white spotlight and a piano and she be amazing. I am not worried at all. She always delivers live. Always.

I'm only worried about certain things.

What I'm worried about

-Hype. I wish this era had so much more hype. Two singles, one video, a video that we know was filmed that has seemed to be forgotten about, a single I was sure was coming out shortly but it's been so long I forgot about it already. There is just NOTHING to this era whatsoever. Everything is in the dark. Hopefully things will pick up when she does her Roseland shows.

-My spot at the ARTPOP Ball. I know I'm going to see the stage layout before her NYC show. But I have LMZ and I really wanna know the best spot to be in in the GA area so I can mentally prepare to go for it. I know it sounds dumb but it's something that worries me. I really would love to know what the stage is gonna look like.

What I'm not worried about

-The show will slay. It's Gaga. She is working but she's quiet about the tour now. Hopefully a month before the tour begins she will do something to make this era explode & become relevant again. She will be prepared. This era is kind of silent, definitely didn't live up to the hype it was given. With all this silence she has to be doing some insane planning. The tour has to be on top of her list. I trust that it is. And she will put together a complete production to wow her fans.
