ARTPOP BALL: Is anyone else worried?

Let me preface before I ask the question:

This thread is not to bash Gaga, "control her career" (as some may say), or impose worrying feelings onto our community. Please read and respond appropriately with well thought out ideas. This thread is intended to discuss possibilities and concerns that others who feel similarly to me, may have.

So we all know that the start of the ARTPOP ball is less than 2 months away (yesterday was the 2 month mark, March 4th, 2014). With the ball rapidly approaching we seem to still be in a period of uncertainty. We haven't heard any new information about the ball or what it entails (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Thinking back to the hype and feels we all got while waiting for the BTWB, it feel much different this time around.

Now considering the path the last few months took, is anyone else worried that the tour may fall under the same set of unfortunate circumstances that the album and its promotional schedule fell victim to? By this I mean: being rushed, impulsive decisions (not on anyone's part in particular), and an unclear direction. While I consider the album to be godly, there's no point in denying that the Haus has had its fair share of problems over the past couple months...again no fault on anyone in particular.

I will be going to the opening ball in Ft. Lauderdale Florida on May 4th. I was just wondering if anyone here had the same concerns I have.

While I know that touring is when Gaga is in her zone, Im still a bit worried that it wont all come together - to what extent I do not know - if that is even the case at all.

Since we honestly have no clue what to expect, is anyone else a little worried that the ARTPOP ball will fall under similar circumstances? Obviously the tour will almost certainly turn out to be amazing, but it's the "almost" that leaves that little wiggle room.

Until then, best of luck with costumes and tickets!

PEACE. LOVE. ARTPOP.  :legend:

*If you do not agree, please be constructive (I hate that word) in your response and don't just say I am one of "those" fans.*

*PS this was my first ever topic   Thanks for reading!

Nope, she's been planning for a long time but been keeping quiet rather than spending her time telling everyone what she's doing. If the important things were not finished with 2 months to go, there would probably be cancellations because they would know by know

I posted this in a other thread 2 weeks ago. I don't see her rehearsing or anything. Normally she would've tweeted the stage design or a attribute to the show by now but.... :awkney:

However I don't think any show is gonna get cancelled, there more parties then just her involved.

Like everyone else, i hope everything goes smoothly.  I think in this "blackout" gaga was MORE focused in planning this tour thoroughly (hope i put this word right :flop: )   so i prefer to be excited for this moments, where she's clearly working her ass off, even if we don't see it.

As of now, i prefer for her not to hype it just yet.  Maybe with the Roseland shows the story will be different, and the hype train will begin.

Let's trust her  :)

I think if there was one thing she would want to get right next to the music it would be her tour. She is known for her huge and brilliant performances and this tour has had a lot of planning time. I believe that most of this silence has gone into the tour, since there's obviously not much else happening right now.

Especially since if I remember right some things were not totally smoothed out for the first show of the BTWB in Seoul? There were lots of changes as that leg went on and before the show got stable and everything was perfected. Maybe they are putting the show together so it's 100% ready for night one.

So to answer your question, no, I'm not concerned. But I can understand why people would be. I just don't think that in this period where she's clearly working on all of her upcoming projects the tour wouldn't be a major focus. I think it's gonna be great :)

Whatever she's working on right now, I'm sure it has to do with artRAVE.

Tours make more money for an artist and their labels than albums and singles so if they're going to give up on one thing, it wouldn't be this.

OP isn't on about cancelling, he's takling about messiness

I was worried regarding the same thing but tbh I believe we'll probably get a lot things all at once now. She's waiting for the right moment. She had been planning the video and tour back in January. She's been quiet about the video, but we all know she shot it thanks to the Hearst Castle management and candids. Likewise, I'm sure she's working round the clock for the artRave, she's just silent and secretive about it.

What else do you reckon '#monsterstuff' is? ;)

Let's hope so. I remember seeing the videos of So Happy I Could Die from TMBv2.0 before the Living Dress was ready. I'm going May 6th (and again the13th and 15th), and I'm hoping by the end that all the kinks are taking out... preferably as expected from night 1.

However, I'm pretty sure this black out is going into behind-the-scenes rehearsals as she is prepping for both Roseland and the tour. Like what else is there for her to be doing? A little song writing and recording here and there, but I don't think those are her immediate, short-term focuses.

EDIT: I'll continue working on my ARTPOP Ball body so I look s-xy for going shirtless in Atlanta as Gaga is working on making this tour epic  :omfgaga:

I don't get why they're not rehearsing for the tour yet

They probably are, but she's not communicating / hyping it.
