It's nice to meet you, welcome to the thread. Utada! She was the first JPOP artist I listened to. What was it like being in Japan while she was still releasing music? I heard she was kind of mysterious, didn't go out very often... is that true? And did people miss her when she first went on hiatus? I have to admit I'm really obsessed with her (As you can see in my signature, I created a thread for her haha)

They haven't released that much yet (I think just one album in Korean and Japanese, and now this single) but some of their songs are among my favorite KPOP songs, particularly "Bangkok City" (which is freaking PERFECT) and "Aing." Haha. I discovered her, like many American fans, through Kingdom Hearts and "Simple and Clean," and explored her Japanese music from there. Her English music isn't as good in my opinion. But "Ultra Blue" is like my favorite album ever I really hope she comes back soon... I think some producer who used to work with her said she was?? Also adooooore the 2 extra songs on the mini single album for Catallena. "Cried Uncontrollably" kills me. I didn't buy "Sorry" yet cuz it's just like... them repeating "Sorry" over and over again I'm gonna listen to it all the way through now, though, maybe I'll change my mind This is "Bangkok City" for anyone reading who wants to give it a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZUZdGCyLmw
