PoshLife 16,973
JJCC getting that desperately needed promo over at AllKFlop (the gifs didn't copy over so some of the captions are out of context): 8 reasons you should check out JJCC! With new groups being pumped out of the K-Pop machine on the daily, it's easy to miss great talents come and go. So let me introduce you to the rookies that make up the group JJCC and show you why you should give them a chance. Here are eight reasons you should check out JJCC! 1. They were formed with 'Rush Hour' style You know Jackie Chan--the lovable, endearing actor/comedian/stunts man/director? Turns out that he's also the mastermind behind JJCC. The hints are all in the boy group's name as JJCC is actually a mesh of two "JC" acronyms that stand for "Jackie Chan" and "Joint Culture." The full name actually translates in Korean to, "Let's share cultures with Jackie Chan," possibly hinting at a secret, international mission with Jackie Chan as the leader. Dope. Hey if Jackie Chan likes their music, you'll like their music! 2. Best names ever Not only do they have an awesome group name, these K-Pop secret agents also boast some of the best code names ever. For Disney fans, there's a SimBa for you. For ecology fans, there's an E.co for you*. And of course, there's Prince Mak, who is apparently royalty in the game of macking. Aw yeah. *Note: Jokes aside, E.co's name actually derives from the "ycho" part of "psycho." 3. Global talent An international mission needs to be executed by an international group! JJCC members are from different parts of the world, with three Korean members (SimBa, E.co, San-Cheong), one Korean-American member (EDDY), and one Chinese-Australian member (Prince Mak). 4. They have a stunt master Member EDDY was actually part of 'Jackie Chan's Stunt Group' before he eventually became a part of JJCC, making this whole secret-agent-mission theory more and more of a plausible thing. 5. They have models When SimBa and E.co weren't busy scouring Pride Rock to make sure all is good and well in the Animal Kingdom, they were strutting their stuff on the runway! That's right, SimBa and E.co were once runway models. Seeing their visuals, it probably comes as no surprise. 6. They have a college nerd San-Cheong is currently a student at the prestigious Hanyang University's Department of Theater and Film. Hanyang University is ranked as the fourth best in the country, meaning this member has both the brains and the beauty. San-Cheong in deep thought. 7. They have a Prince With possibly the best name ever, Prince Mak comes in as the seventh fact you need to know about JJCC. Winner of a Chinese survival audition, Prince Mak is certainly a gem in the K-Pop world, as his talent has led him to be picked by SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment for auditions in Australia. Because seriously, how could anyone resist this?! 8. They boast some awesome music and choreo You'll have to see it to believe it. Check it out! There you have it, 8 reasons you should take interest in this K-Pop rookie group JJCC! Do you have a bias already? Let us know in the comments below!
