It's a good song, but this is weird. And Trouble Maker charting for no reason at all. Mess My guess is it has to do with how much a song is being discussed/shared on social media, particular the 'cafe' things that are really big over there, and maybe Facebook/twitter/etc to a lesser extent? It would explain why that chart coincides with what we talk/read about on ALLKPop more than the actual sales charts. Is 'Some' talked alot on AKP? Cause it's ridiculous. When Some was slaying the charts (reminder: it was #1-#3 for weeks on Gaon), people were saying it's a scam, streams were showing older people listening to the song at 3-4 in the night. I'm starting to think this might be true? Though those were the singles chart, this is for social. But then again I really doubt 'Trouble Maker' is still being that discussed on the cafes. While it has some strong points (Like the post chorus, the pre-chorus right after the second verse and the ending), the verses and the actual chorus could’ve been better executed, maybe by including more melody and singing (as the already mentioned post-chorus) and toning down the chanting. On terms of quality, it’s a (slightly) above-average EXO song, and I have no specific remarks about the music video. It's a traditional ‘inside-the-box’ SM video, with the “Tree of Life†choreography being the most remarkable point.
