i'm just learning FL studio, literally for the past day. And I put this remix together. I would love to know if its a hit or miss. Please just be honest, I don't mind criticism...

I dont know how to automate, so some of the volume of particular tracks starts off too loud. That is, i'm saying, I don't know how to fade in sounds.

And actually, would like some help with FL studio, if anyone could teach me how to automate!

Thanks

I love the minimalist approach, it sounds just slightly out of time though. An amazing start though! :)

Where did you get FL Studio from? I think a PM is in order ;)

Try to fit the vocals with the beat, they're off beat now and too loud

Same! Trying to find the full version for free because I don't have the money but it's such a struggle.

We're in the same boat then!

have u used other DAWs before?

i'm trying to learn it, because its able to do so much, but it IS a struggle. I could buy the Fruity Lite version for 99, but I feel like it will be limited in functions, so I'd rather just use the demo for now

I have only used Garageband in school. Are there any good free ones?

No they all cost money, sometimes a lot of it.

The only good free program for editing waveforms is Audacity. but it is very basic, and can only work with audio

oh, also, there's a website called www.splice.com which is an online DAW similar to Ableton.

Its in beta now, and you have to be approved to use it. (i'm not)

Eventually tho, I think it will become public!
