omg what happened to the journalist?

He was a cartoonist(?) he made cartoons of allah and there were multiple death threats. I remember they even arrested muslim extremists who were actually planning his murder. Now he lives with police surrounding his house 24/7 to protect him. :eww: I think he was danish? It was a few years ago. It's pretty sad that in the 21st century we have to auto-censor ourselves for the sake of somebody's imaginary friends.

I think he was depicting the prophet Mohammed not Allah.... And the Muslims were mad because you are not allowed to depict prophets or God in drawings or anything in Islamic culture because that limits the image of them to the limited imagination of man

it was actually drawings of the prophet mohammed. it's considered blasphemy to draw images of him so when a danish newspaper published a cartoon there were worldwide violent protests by muslims in which over 200 people were killed, they called for a complete boycott of all things danish to cripple their economy. countries around the world wouldn't republish the images in fear, and instead of blaming the delusional psychopaths who went on a frenzy over a drawing, the cowardly media mostly blamed the artist instead!

it's not the only situation of its kind which is the worst thing of all. a director of a film about the oppression of women in islam was gutted in the street. the most famous case is the one where a man (salman rushdie) wrote a book that mentions some islamic verses that are forbidden and he was giving the death penalty by an islamic leader, with a huge cash prize for whichever muslim kills him. he lived under constant protection for years and years. editors and translators of the book around the world were murdered.

this "disrespect" / "offence" thing is insanity and no one should be intimidated by it because that is what they want and that is not what we as a society should be about.

I don't remember which one it was. And anyway their reactions are not justified. You can't kill someone just because he insulted your "god".

She never claims she leaves Jesus for Judas, she is forgiving Judas for betraying Jesus and Judas is a metaphor for a guy who betrayed her... Nowhere near as bad as what Katy Perry did

Vevo can edit out that clip in the video of Dark Horse, they don't need to remove the whole video entirely. That would be much more suitable tbh.

But he's wearing the necklace the whole time... Burning him (even if he doesn't show the necklace actually being burned) implies that it's still being burned... That whole scene needs to be removed

They can just edit the necklace out.
