i honestly think of MarcMonster as a reliable source....he said on twitter "no one said ARTPOP was the third single" and even though no one actually did and it was common sense i believed that.

to the people who say she isn't announcing anything so as not to repeat what happened with DWUW---like..? Why is gaga the only major popstar who has this issue? This really isn't that hard. pick a single, send it to radio, film a video and promote. i don't see how this is so hard?

The video is already filmed and it's obviously wise to release a song to radio a few weeks before the video comes out. So, the single isn't even announced, god knows when it's going to be sent to radio, so there's still that wait, and THEN, we'll probably have a 2-3 week gap after the song is sent to radio before the video even comes. The timing and slowness of this era is utterly laughable. at this rate, i don't even think we'll have the video until early April, since we're nearing March, with no single even announced.

This so much, This is not understandable 'cause this only happens with GaGa. I hadn't seen an era managed in such an awful way as this for a major póp star in her prime. This is why some fans are tired of this situation. It's beyond stupid that the so called "biggest pop artist of the world" has this kind of problem that you only see with indie acts for lack of money or support.

And for that stupid argument that I read about her not needing to care for just some crying little babies, there's something called Costumer Relationship Management and this model accepted WW tell us that you are doing something wrong when you receive complaints from loyal and reasonable costumers (like this situation between GaGa and the management of ARTPOP) and that you should really try to improve this 'cause they are just as valuable (and maybe more) than the ones who don't complain (cause the ones who don't complain are easily pleased with whatever you do and they'll never show you areas to improve); while you try to please the reasonable protesters again you're surely improving your business too.  ;)

I'm always on her side, but she really needs to move at a quicker pace. I'll support her for whatever, but she risks losing a lot of you, because most of you are so impatient.

she is way too slow, we are in no way impatient. in the duration that katy has released 3 videos, she has done ONE

Just like any reasonable consumer who don't receive what he expects when he sees that the only problem is with the product/label that he consumes.

All the other pop girls deliver in time.

Yes but let's not forget OUR specific situation. And I'm sure it's easier when you have a team of people TELLING you what to do (and having no creative input) as opposed to Gaga being extremely hands on with her artistry. No shade towards Katy but yeah. . . Mechanics 101.

Yes as well but all the others probably didn't fire (or quit) their managers as well.

Some of you should chill out, go outside, read a book, shovel snow (our NY struggle. smfh at mother nature). Gaga is human and it's bad enough that she has to listen to/see the public ridiculing her all the time - ARTPOP flopped, artflop, the decay, etc. She shouldn't have to come to the forum or other fans and see it from some of you as well. I'm not approving this long wait I'm just as anxious as some of you. But to frequently repeat the same things about stuff that we have NO control over is annoying. Stop comparing Gaga to the other singers because really it's not the same. Any one that has SOME type of industry knowledge would know that. Things always seem so simple/joyous when you're outside the house looking into the window. . .

I'm pissed to a certain extent but I'm also aware she's currently revamping a lot in her personal camp as well as, most likely, preparing for a tour.

She should definitely take a step back and let a director do what a director's gotta do. She needs to stop trying to grill in the notion that she's good at every aspect of her career when we all know how the BTW era turned out. She's a MUSICIAN, a POP STAR, she is trained to write good songs, hit the appropriate notes, play the piano etc, but she is NOT a film maker, NOT a photographer (ahem, Judas single cover), NOT a performance artist (even if she thinks it is). No matter how she tries to evolve and steer away from making generic pop songs, that is what she needs to learn to do. Throw in good bops, make tongue in cheek videos, release stuff ON TIME. That's what makes her a POP STAR. If she doesn't want to do what I've just said, then retire from pop music and make alternative material, or go into fashion design or something. She is doing EVERYTHING, doing the MOST, except for fun, cheeky pop music. Gone are the days we had sweet bops like LoveGame and Eh Eh.
