What happened at that show?

The show was great until she performed Sonnets/Unrealities XI when she used the wrong microphone and had to redo the song. Then after a few more songs, she performed Cosmogony but forgot all the lyrics after the first verse so they redid that song too. Then she performed Solstice, but because they have to turn on the pendulum harp when they sing Cosmogony so that the harp is gets into the right rhythm, and they performed Cosmogony a second time, some of the harp notes were the wrong ones and the tempo changed a bit. Then Sacrifice was performed with the Sharpsichord, everything was fine until the beats came in way too early. So they redid the song again, but that was even worse.

But even after all that, the show was still great. Björk was very talkative that night too, which is very rare. She said a lot of funny things only she would say.

It seems like something has always gone wrong with her recent concert films...

I don't think the Voltaic DVD was that bad. Only bad thing i can think of is that she was sick the night they filmed it and she ended up re recording the "Where Is The Line" audio in studio cause she wasn't satisfied with her performance. Other than that, it was a good. On another note, it always bothered me she didn't put the whole paris and iceland show on the DVD. I wanted to hear "It's Oh So Quiet" live!  :emo:

I was talking about this performance. It was filmed, but she didn't put it on the DVD. Sure it wasn't that great of a performance, but it was the first one in a long time.

Last week I bought a used copy of Gling-Gló and Family Tree

I've been on the fence on Gling-Gló. I wanna get it, but i'm not sure if i'd listen to it. I heard a few songs but i wasn't feeling any of em. Also don't you just love the packaging and stuff for Family Tree? I loved the note that came with it from Bjork.

I just bought it because I needed something to hold me over until the next one :toofunny:

The Family Tree packaging is so cute :emo:

Make that CD last, its gonna be awhile till the next one. :giggle:

But seriously, we'll probably get it sooner than we expect. She had a lot of free time during the Biophilia tour, and i find it hard to believe that she wasn't keeping herself busy working on something. I couldn't imagine her spending all that time sitting on the couch watching soap opera's and eating Twinkies or what ever.
