FrozenKookie 2,638
But the first time i love Bjork is when i listened to oceania tho.... and by then i discover Her homogenic But this is the most suggestible pattern for anyone who's interested :) and Post is obv her most accessible album especially for first timers. Someone just posted that image here randomly on a Gaga thread last Dec and I use it as my map, then the rest is history. I haven't heard Medulla yet tho as it's the final, but I do stan hard already for Post, Homogenic and Vespertine.
Homogenik 5
I think Volta would have benefited from a rerelease when Nattura was recorded, with Trance added and Hope taken off. This is my Volta tracklist: 1. Earth Intruders (extended Mark Spike Stent mix) 2. Wanderlust 3. Dull Flame of Desire 4. Innocence 5. I See Who You Are 6. Vertebrae by Vertebrae 7. Pneumonia 8. Trance 9. Nattura 10. Declare Independance 11. My Juvenile
vespertine 3
I think Volta would have benefited from a rerelease when Nattura was recorded, with Trance added and Hope taken off. This is my Volta tracklist: 1. Earth Intruders (extended Mark Spike Stent mix) 2. Wanderlust 3. Dull Flame of Desire 4. Innocence 5. I See Who You Are 6. Vertebrae by Vertebrae 7. Pneumonia 8. Trance 9. Nattura 10. Declare Independance 11. My Juvenile I would replace Wanderlust with the Ratatat remix of it, take out I See Who You Are and replace it with one of the unreleased Timbaland tracks, and put My Juvenile before Trance, and maybe move Vertebrae by Vertebrae to after Náttùra :)
JudasInTheDark 3
I went to a really small local record store yesterday and I was so excited at the thought of finding some Björk records, and all they had was Voltaic and Bastards :dead:

Albums in order. Homogenic/Vesperitne Debut Post/Biophilia Volta Medúlla/Selmasongs But I love all of them ofc
JudasInTheDark 3
You know what Björk song is totally underrated? "Aeroplane" from Debut. It's got such an irrisiatable tribal/jungle feel and rhythm and the instrumentation totally adds to that. I feel like I'm going on an adventure and so relaxed listening to that track. FrozenKookie 2,638
My fave Bjork songs (in order, sort of) are: Hyperballad, Joga, Pagan Poetry Seriously my holy Trinity haven't heard of Medulla tho, Debut and Volta are meh.. I just can't consider them as "life" themselves unlike Post, Homogenic and Vespertine. I'm really hoping for the best for Medulla. Pray 4 me guise. Bio 23,538
I wish she would do something more like "There's More To Life Than This" I love that song. My favorite albums are Medulla, Homogenic and Debut in order.

I mean it's nearly all acapella (no instrumentation) and imo very hard to enjoy like the rest of her work. There wasn't a Bjallah thread before? Lol there was one, and it had a ton of pages, but it got deleted for some reason because it wasn't staying active I guess. Hopefully this one won't have the same fate :flop:
Shu Rin 64
I'm feeling a little generous and i wanna share a soundboard recorded bootleg of one of Bjork's Biophilia festival shows. Anyone interested? :) Bjork is taking part in a concert on March 18th in Iceland: I hope it's live streamed like the Nattura festival was. I think it's sad that the Icelandic Government is not listening to it's people and not protecting Iceland's enviorment. The Earth remembers, the stones remember. If you know how to listen, they will tell you many things.
